**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Welders** for a projects located in & around **Newport News, VA.** This is a first shift opportunity and the **pay rate is up to** **$40/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Conduct RT Inspections on Piping + Casting + Structural Welds + Utilizing X-Ray & Gamma Radiography Techniques + Perform & Document Inspections Including Calibration & Operation of Radiographic Equipment + Navigate & Perform Tasks in Various Environments Including Climbing, Crawling & Confined Spaces **Requirements** + Certified Level II ASNT SNT-TC-1A (2001 Edition or later) + Passed and Documented Certification of IRRSP from an Approved Entity. + Demonstrated ability to pass written general theory, procedure-specific, and practical examinations for RT inspection + Recent visual acuity exam with Jaeger 1 letters at no less than 12 inches within the last year + Certification documentation for the current and preceding 3-year period, including training, experience records, examination results, and vision tests + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Comfort with climbing ladders, working at heights, and crawling in tanks and confined space + Ability to pass general examinations cover basic principles of RT inspection + Ability to pass exam addressing equipment operating procedures, test techniques, specifications codes, and acceptance criteria + Ability to pass practical examinations focus on performance in X-ray and Gamma radiography **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
