MARITIME OPERATIONS TRAINING ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a MARITIME OPERATIONS TRAINING ANALYST in the TRAINING, EXERCISES, AND WARGAMING (TE&W) DEPARTMENT of NAVY WARFARE DEVELOPMENT CENTER Responsibilities You will serve as a Desk Officer for the MOC TET, in which you will be responsible for planning, executing and institutionalizing a formal Navy training and exercise program for MOC's at OLW. You will lead, develop and deliver MOC training readiness and standardization efforts through a program of persistent, functional and collective training events. You will develop a formal and disciplined operational training continuum and readiness methodology to support the achievement of MOC standardization and certification. You will lead and provide technical oversight to a combined, diverse team of 20-25 functional area O-Ts/SME’s. You will participate in exercise and training planning improvement fleet readiness. You will apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze, and improve team effectiveness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience and mastery of and skill in qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness for the validation, planning, design, and execution of exercise scenarios. Experience and thorough knowledge of exercises and simulation at the operational and level of war to include military command and control, Navy operational planning, command Relationships, Joint warfare, and multi-domain integration. Experience and thorough knowledge of missions, policies, programs, procedures, and practices of NWDC's Director that are highly critical and time sensitive in nature Experience and skilled in the planning, organizing, and direction of team project work and the ability to interact effectively with management when making proposals or recommendations of significance.
