Manage a team directly or indirectly. Is the country project manager of all Market Access activities to gain Access and maintain price, reimbursement from early phases to launch and throughout the lifecycle. Is the key contact at country level of the global Value & Access Manager. Works closely at country level with HEOR/HTA manager, Pricing Manager, Market Access Institutional Manager and Field Market Access Manager Accountable for the definition of the Value & Access Strategy/Pricing strategy and coordinates the implementation of the access strategy at country level Ensure that deliverables (Value Story/Price/reimbursement/HE dossier) and payer marketing actions/ materials are ready in a timely manner In charge of KAM/FMAM training. Provide inputs into product forecasts, including strategic, operational and financial forecasting
Strategic context
This role encompasses all key Market Access activities in the COPAC MCO that cut across products, functions and therefore are not product specific but rather focused on enabling market access to achieve its mission. This aim of this role is to develop cross-portfolio payer engagement/insight generation, payer policy development, enhance internal capabilities as well as operational and launch excellence. The role will be responsible for advising the leadership of opportunities for process, tracking and operational improvement.

The position has a team of 8 Market Access managers.This position reports to the Country Lead & Head of Pharma COPACMain responsibilities
Develops cross-countries “scalable” business projects and change management programs specific to Market Access, in compliance with the highest international standards and norms.Ensures consistent strategic directions of Market Access teams is fully aligned with COPAC MCO Council, Business Units, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs, Trade, legal, regulatory among other key functions.Coordinates the integrated evidence generation plans within the LATAM MCO back-office team, becomes the payer voice during the scientific planning of the organization.Drives the external payer world; anticipates the external pricing and reimbursement reforms and takes proactive actions.Excellence in external engagement skills, bringing the payer voice into the organization as well as be the Sanofi face in external payer environment.In addition to strategic plans, the incumbent also has operational responsibilities to support optimized access conditions.Lead a high-performance team: Attract, retain, and develop key talents, securing a healthy work environment and sustainable talent pipeline.Ensure cross-organization deployment of Market Access competencies.Lead the global access strategy across the development and life-cycle management phases including external payer engagements, value and payer engagement tools and materials negotiation tool kits, mock negotiation workshops and implementation across the organization.Collaborate with Market Access LATAM MCO head towards Market Access transformation resources, capabilities, and training.Local to Global Business case development makes sure that country MAx is leveraging sophisticated data and analytical capabilities to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation to streamline Market Access operations and accelerate time to market.Local markets business insights and levers understanding to co-develop and execute best strategiesIdentify and assess potential risks related to MCO Market Access topics, including geopolitical, regulatory, and operational risksMaintain a high level of knowledge with regards to the scientific, clinical and commercial developments in the therapeutic area(s) as well as a robust understanding of relevant recommendations, pricing and funding criteria used by payers in key markets to make informed decisions about payer strategy, plans and tactics.Support policy/environment shaping activities to ensure value messages are acknowledged by all relevant stakeholders, including payers influencers.Ensure on-boarding of affiliate teams, timely and aligned roll-out of Market Access deliverables across markets.Manage the budget allocated to franchise-related projects he/she is leading, according to the brand priorities and in close partnership with the COPAC costumer engagement managers y LATAM Marketing leads.Compliance: Respects corporate commitment and compliance guidelines.About you
Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years of proven successful management/market access/public affairs experience.Exposure to international environment with track record of performance in Market Access, Public AffairsExperience with contributing to Global initiatives and local implementationExperience in leading access negotiationsSoft and technical skills: Global mindset: able to understand and contribute to the global framework combined with local executionCapacity to challenge the status quo to enhance efficiency with an entrepreneurial mindset respecting global approaches.
