Role Introduction:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Market Access Insights Director for our CVRM (Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism) unit in the US. This crucial role will integrate primary research and secondary analytics to shape market access strategies, optimizing our brand's market positioning and performance within the CVRM Commercial Business Unit.
Accountabilities:
Insights Generation:
Lead integration of insights and analyses from diverse sources, including primary market research and competitive intelligence.
Synthesize data into actionable recommendations to guide brand strategy, pricing, and forecasts.
Generate insights into US payer decision-making and reimbursement trends to drive strategy implementation.
Serve as a market access thought leader, promoting value-based strategies to optimize brand positioning.
Primary Market Research (PMR):
Manage primary research in accordance with AZ compliance policies, collaborating with vendors to yield high-quality insights.
Partner with US Contract Strategy to inform contracting forecasting and strategies.
Translate market access barriers and stakeholder insights into actionable strategies.
Identify and prioritize business issues related to market access, focusing on access, pricing, and payer engagement.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Engage and build credibility with Commercial Leadership Teams.
Pull together insights from various sources to provide strategic guidance for brand teams.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in science or a commercial-related field.
7+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with market research or strategic marketing experience.
Strategic and critical thinking with experience in engaging cross-functional teams.
Strong business and marketing acumen with excellent communication skills.
Ability to synthesize large data volumes into actionable insights.
Knowledge of research principles and pharmaceutical data sources.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with budget management experience.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience working collaboratively across functions.
Strong communication and influencing skills for presenting analyses and insights.
Direct experience in market access-focused insights and analyses is a plus.
