Market Access Manager

 

THE POSITIONWe are looking for a Market Access Manager in Budapest, Hungary:

The Market Access Manager is responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies for company products within the respective therapeutic area to ensure patient access to the treatment at the optimal price and timing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

Builds and maintains relationships with government organizations, medical associations, health care groups. Establishes relationship management with decision-makers in the healthcare system, develops reimbursement strategies, coordinates reimbursement processes and conducts reimbursement negotiations with payers. Assesses pricing and market access risks arising from price changes; may develop and implement pricing strategy and/or reimbursement processes Designs and leads initiatives for value communication and for obtaining and securing permanent reimbursement of products in the treatment pathways.Will be responsible for patient engagement activities by supporting and developing relationships with Patient Associations whose diseases are aligned to Boehringer Ingelheim strategic therapeutic areas.Build external networks with leaders and members of patient groups, healthcare charities, and other important institutions to better manage the impact of these institutions and their policies on the Boehringer Ingelheim brand.Responsible for the development of annual Patient Engagement plan and execution by maintaining an understanding national priority.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Advanced degree (preferably medical, pharmacist and/or economist)  Native in Hungarian; advanced in English  Knowledge of the healthcare environment and the pharmaceutical market – drivers, dynamics and key stakeholdersBroad experience in relevant and diverse areas of pharmaceutical industry (marketing, sales, business development), knowledge/experience of managementThorough understanding of the media and politicsCompetence in and knowledge of pre-launch marketing processes gained within the pharmaceutical sector  Experience of financial and/or business planning  Comprehensive understanding of environment including social security structure, disease management initiatives, health economy issues  Analytical thinkingDrive for resultPlanning & prioritisationProactivity and networkingStrategic thinkingEffective communicationIntegrity
