**JOB PURPOSE/PRIORITIES:**
+ To obtain price and reimbursement for new products including management of PE study
+ To obtain reimbursement for LCM projects
+ To manage and negotiate the price, volume and other RSA conditions
+ To develop market access plan and provide input on new pipeline
**ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT:**
+ Direct report to Market Access Lead
+ Working closely with country Marketing, Communication & Patients Advocacy, Sales, Finance, Medical and Regulatory Affairs team and regional/global functional partners
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:**
+ Lead the development and execution of local Market Access strategies and plan for the assigned existing and new products to ensure the optimal pricing and access conditions in alignment with business priorities and global MAx strategies including local adaptation of value proposition and value story, data generation to support value proposition, value communication and engagement with stakeholders (HIRA, NHIS, MOHW, KTLs etc.), preparing the documents for global approval of local Market Access strategies and pricing/access conditions.
+ Lead the adaptation of the local pharmaco-economic research pursuing the best scenario. Prepare P&R and Health Economics dossiers, written responses to payers and key arguments for negotiation to the required quality level in a timely manner.
+ Lead the communication with HIRA and NHIS to address payer questions and negotiate the best price/access conditions including budget impact, price-volume agreement etc. for new and existing products in line with business strategies.
+ Ensure local price management system is in compliant with global pricing governance including the update and validation of local price master and global tariff and obtaining proper local/global pricing approval of price changes.
+ Work closely with Business Units to monitor volume, competitors, actual transaction prices etc and forecast potential price changes on a regular basis. Provide timely update on price and reimbursement changes to the relevant business partners.
**JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:**
**Language skil** **ls** **:**
+ Fluent in Korean & English (written and spoken)
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree (or above) of Pharmacy (preferred), Health Economics(preferred), Public Health, Statistics or Science
+ Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Economics (preferred), Pharmaco-epidemiology
**Experience & knowledge:**
+ Minimum 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry with an in-depth understanding of market access area (healthcare system, pricing policy, HEOR)
+ Strategic mindset with problems solving, and analytical ability.
+ Pro-active attitude and the ability to work independently
+ Experience in communicating, influencing, and negotiating with healthcare policy decision-makers
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Good communication & negotiation skill
+ Collaborative work with internal & external stakeholders
+ Good understanding of Korea pricing & reimbursement environment, decision making process and relevant stakeholders
The following experience and knowledge would be an advantage.
+ Experience of new drug reimbursement with cost-effectiveness analysis
+ Understanding of the business of healthcare
