This position plays a critical role in providing data-driven insights to guide new business decisions, strategic planning, and market positioning. This role proactively analyzes market trends, assists with underwriting potential new and deliver actionable insights to support the growth and profitability of the portfolio.

 The day-to-day:   

Develop and understand comprehensive market analysis and business growth opportunities both locally and globally through research and evaluation, including ongoing communication of updates to department leadership. Assess the viability of new developments or acquisitions in specific markets or locations, based on MRR leadership and/or client request.Identify and assess emerging market trends, such as shifts in resident preferences, regulatory changes, or new development opportunities.Complete proforma analysis upon request, per MRR leadership and/or client needs.Conduct research and analyze data points amongst comparable properties in specific submarkets to inform pricing and promotional strategies, including concession strategies, unit mix, amenity packages, interior finishes, elevation, and moreQuantifies business intelligence with economic models, including evaluating sales forecast data (both internal and external pipelines) to evaluate individual market performance and potential impact on portfolio performance.Proactively identify at-risk assets through comprehensive market research and analysis.Develop opportunities to expand business with current investor groups; identifies further business needs and present solutions.Analyzes data, makes recommendations and comments, and presents accurate market data to the departmental leadership team to align with pricing strategies for new or repositioning assets. Prepare presentations and resources that outline the overall performance, risk assessments, and market outlook internally and externally for new acquisitions (RFPs).Engage within the industry to understand business and market trends, including forming and maintaining industry relationships, i.e. attending Econ Conference, IREM events, etc.

Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organizationStrong time-management, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflow, escalate as needed, and problem solve.Self-starter, capable of identifying opportunities and taking decisive action to move projects forward without direct supervision Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmAcute attention to detail Requirements

  Qualifications:  

Three to five (3-5) years of multi-family real estate market analysis related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceWorking knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable areas of property management and/or real estateWorking knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
