Market Analyst (m/f/d) Intralogistics & Warehouse Automation
Responsibilities Make an impact Market Analysis & Research: Analyze market size, trends and opportunities for warehouse automation solutions. Gather and interpret data from various sources to develop insights for feature prioritization. Support for Strategic Decisions: Provide data and analytical support for CapEx requests and business case development. Validate assumptions with external data and expert input. Competitor Benchmarking: Monitor and analyze competitor offerings, pricing strategies and performance. Provide insights on competitive positioning and conduct head-to-head comparisons. Data Management & Tools: Use tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting. Maintain internal market databases and collaborate to improve data collection processes. Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication: Liaise between market experts and internal managers. Partner with stakeholders to align on market insights and deliver presentations and reports. Market Insights Sharing: Share market updates and competitor insights with the broader organization, e.g. our Commercial Excellence function. This means to collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine competitive strategies. Application Requirements What you need to succeed Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, data analytics or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: 2-4 years as a market analyst, business analyst or similar role Industry Knowledge (nice to have): Understanding of warehouse automation solutions, products and processes. Familiarity with intralogistics, material handling or robotics industries. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas. Experience in proper data visualization. Familiarity with market research methodologies and statistical analysis techniques. Analytical Abilities: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with a detail-oriented approach. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Language Skills: Proficient in English, additional language skills are a plus. Soft Skills: Solid communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively. Proactive problem-solving attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Travel: Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%) to our Swisslog locations.
