About the role

As a Market and Product & Asset Manager Silica/SpeChem, you will work on developing and executing marketing strategies to achieve business targets while managing portfolio & profitability optimization and competitive intelligence to support both Silica and SpeChem businesses.

You will be accountable for:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, distributors and key industry stakeholders and at the same time collaborating with the sales, R&D, and operations teams to align market strategies

Managing pricing strategies, promotions, and product positioning to maximize profitability

Driving detailed portfolio analysis to segment products and propose option to improve margins for outliers

Developing and applying product lifecycle management process (new product, customer specific requirements and product rationalization plans)

Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data on competitors' product offerings, pricing strategies, market positioning and performance

Tracking emerging technologies, regulatory changes and shifts in customer preferences within the chemical industry. Assess how competitors adapt to these changes and recommend strategies to leverage opportunities or mitigate risks

We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

 

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Science, chemical engineering or finance

Relevant work experience in preferably a combination of industrial and commercial responsibilities

Competencies:

Strong business acumen: understanding market dynamics and how to drive profitability

Experience in investment financial analysis

At ease with digital tools (SAP, Salesforce)

Behaviors:

Result oriented, bias for decision and action

Analytical, able to navigate between big pictures and details

Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborative with strong impact and influence and ability to work across organization boundaries

 

About the pay and benefits

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (France) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 105 000 euros to 131 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
