What you will do in this role:

Assist and coordinate in-take and pre-admission screening processAbility to review patient medical charts and understand pharmaceuticals, test results, therapy evaluations, pre-existing conditions, and have a general medical knowledge of the patientPerform on-site (typically in referring facility) pre-admission assessments to assist with facilitating Physician review of patient’s clinical appropriateness for admission to inpatient rehabilitationCommunicates to patients and family's rehabilitation and facility options. Communicates to patients determined appropriate for admission the patient’s expectations and requirements for participationFunctions as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilitiesCompletes face to face, in-service education contacts to physicians. And face-to-face, in-service educational contacts to case managers, and other professionalsInform and educate physicians, case managers, and other decision makers about the locations and acute rehabilitation servicesPerforms market analysis, market research and development and implementation of marketing and business plansDevelops marketing plans for assigned programs, which includes market analysis and financial feasibility studiesOther duties as assigned
Qualifications

Clinical licensure requiredBachelor’s degree preferredPrevious marketing/sales experience preferredPrevious clinical experience preferred with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and EMR systemsFormal sales training preferredValid driver’s license and clean driving recordExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
