At FactSet, our Content and Strategic Partnerships team spearheads the development, negotiation, and management of relationships with market data vendor partners. We are responsible for overseeing FactSet's data budget and streamlining interactions with data vendors. Our group also drives the implementation of automated systems and processes to meticulously track and monitor all vendor touchpoints, ensuring unwavering compliance.

Your Impact :

As a Market Data Specialist within FactSet, you will serve as a key resource for questions around market data usage, entitlements, data policies, and licensing. You will build robust working relationships with FactSet’s data suppliers and collaborate closely with global internal teams including Sales, Product Management, Legal, and Project Development.

What You’ll Do :

Serve as the primary advisor to both customers and internal stakeholders on data usage, licensing, fees, and reporting.Collaborate with global data suppliers to secure client approvals for data usage within FactSet solutions.Analyze market data supplier agreements and policies, applying these rules within the FactSet product spectrum.Ensure full compliance with source agreements and regulatory standards, supporting quality assurance initiatives.Manage the compliant setup of clients within FactSet systems and oversee data permissioning.Contribute to process optimization and automation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For :

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Law, or equivalent experience in a similar role.Proven working experience in a market data related position, preferably within a vendor firm, bank, or stock exchange.Familiarity with analyzing license agreements or policies is advantageous.Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.Exceptional customer orientation and communication skills (both written and verbal), capable of effectively interacting with diverse stakeholders and vendors.Meticulous attention to detail and an accurate working style.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Solid presentation skills and a dedicated team player.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.Interest in and understanding of IT are beneficial.Ability to work independently with high levels of commitment and effective time management, even under time constraints.
