Market Development Manager Care Solutions Division
This is the role

Responsible for driving and supporting select growth initiatives and/or key strategic projects identified by the Division. Contributes to the development and execution of a strong pipeline of growth initiatives and/or select strategic projects for the for different segments within the Division or in support of Division-level priorities.

Key Responsibilities are :

Driving market assessment by collecting market and customer insights to define growth opportunities or identify market gaps. Defining and driving the go to market execution for the market segment plan(s). Ensures relevant marketing mixes defined and identifies customer targets to position relevant offers. Defining offers that match unmet needs to current and future Eastman product lines. Using discovery outcomes to prioritize the underserved differentiated growth opportunities through offer development or new product/application development projects. Developing value propositions for identified growth opportunities at a customer or segment level and working with customer partners to demonstrate and document the customer value. Value pricing of offers for the market segment(s). Training front line sales and application development on the value proposition, including distribution channels. Supporting marketing campaigns and leads development for growth initiatives in partnership with marketing communication managers. As a member of the Division Marketing Leadership Team, gain the trust and confidence of Marketing and Division-level Leadership Teams and provide recommendations to develop and prioritize strategic opportunities and projects to deliver, capture, and maintain value This is what you bring

Education & Experience 

•    MBA, Marketing, Finance, Strategy concentration(s) and/or Technical education (Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering) with executive education or career experience in marketing or strategic consulting.
•    5 years minimum, with demonstrated career progression in market-facing roles.  Preferred industries include:
o    B2B generally.
o    Technology driven industries, including materials, life sciences and IT.
o    Engineered/industrial products.
o    Experience with product or brand management, especially in situations involving a new product launch or entry into new markets (e.g. new geographies, new channels, etc.).
o    Management consulting with connects to clients in aforementioned industries.
•    Experience in developing and executing business and marketing strategies or plans.
•    Proven track record in driving results without direct authority.
•    Strong marketing capabilities and practical knowledge of a range of marketing excellence tools along with strong financial, business and commercial acumen.
•    Experience in quantified value proposition development and value pricing.
