MARKET INSIGHTS OFFICER ( 1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT)
JOB PURPOSE
The Market Insights Officer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market data to provide actionable insights that will guide business decisions. This role supports the organization's efforts to stay competitive by understanding market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies. The insights gathered will be used to drive product development, marketing strategies, and overall business growth.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and insights from various resources. Utilize statistical tools and software to interpret data and create comprehensive reports.3. Reporting & Presentation:
Prepare detailed reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders by creating data-driven insights, charts, and visualizations in a clear, concise, and visually engaging manner4. Competitive Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activities and strategies to identify potential threats and opportunities. Provide ongoing competitive analysis and benchmarking reports.5. Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, field solution, market development, sales, and other departments to ensure market insights are integrated into their decision-making processes.Work closely with external research agencies and vendors when necessary to ensure the accuracy and quality of research6. Trend Forecasting:
Identify emerging trends and potential market shifts to proactively inform business strategiesProvide forward-looking insights to help the company adapt to market changes. Data Management: Prepare internal market data and report such as Optimus/Agrowin, Aghorizon, ACe, Croplife report, etc.Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses.
WHO YOU ARE
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
• 3-4 years of experience in shopper insights, market research, or a related field.
• Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Previous experience in working with consumer data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in English both verbal and written
