Traveloka is looking for a Market Manager to enrich our diverse and competitive inventory for Traveloka products.
As a Market Manager, you will be responsible for the supply health and growth in key markets. You will be focusing on Traveloka's market presence and strategy in your assigned locale, by generating and converting supply leads, acquiring and maintaining high quality portfolio of relevant, attractive, and competitive products, as well as building and maintaining strategic partner relationship management. As an expert in your assigned market, you will also be developing localized supply management strategies, for both developed destinations and tap new markets, working with counterparts in Marketing, Product, and Operations teams.
Ultimately, the Market Management team ensures that Traveloka customers are able to live their way around the globe staying at the most suitable property, enjoying the convenience of varying transportation offerings, and experiencing fulfilling activities while allowing our partners to expand their outreach to our diverse customer demands.
Responsibilities:
Negotiating and Managing Contract: Establishing and overseeing agreements with hotel partners to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
Increase Booking Volumes and Optimize Listings: Enhance the number of bookings per property by improving listing visibility and attractiveness through targeted campaigns, rate channel activations, and strategic distribution. This includes refining content to boost booking conversions.
Strengthen Partner Relationships: Build and sustain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with partners through regular communication, business visits, feedback loops, and tailored support. Collaborate closely to ensure partners meet and exceed operational standards, including competitive pricing and service excellence.
Revenue Management: Enhancing revenue by proactively collaborating with properties to optimize inventory and drive performance
Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Partner with properties to address and reduce operational issues that impact the customer experience, such as check-in problems, to improve overall satisfaction.
Strengthen Market Presence: Assess market opportunities, provide actionable insights, and drive growth improving partners' portfolios. Collaborate with the internal team to defend our market position, leverage market insights, and shape strategic initiatives that enhance our competitive edge and market presence.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from reputable universities
4+ years of experience in new sales, account management, customer success, and partner support. Experience in hospitality, travel, or technology industry is preferable.
Proven understanding of market management/development, in the assigned locale.
Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, with a proven track record to execute in ambiguous environments.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data to drive decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and assigned locale language, and ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
A quick learner to absorb new knowledge in the fast-changing and dynamic industry, and synthesize learnings into strategic growth levers that generate tangible business impacts.
