Market Manager Northern Europe (Benelux, Nordics)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Manager to drive growth and strategic direction in the HVAC, Drinking Water, Automation, Valves, and Connected Products segments. This role will focus on market analysis, business development, and the adoption of smart, connected solutions, including thermostats and IoT-enabled products. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the products strategy, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and strong market positioning.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for HVAC, drinking water, automation, valves, and connected products.
Identify market trends, customer needs (VOC), and competitive landscape to drive product positioning and differentiation.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and product management teams to align market strategies with business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
Analyze market data, sales performance, and customer feedback to refine marketing and sales approaches.
Lead pricing strategies and revenue growth initiatives to enhance profitability and market share.
Drive product awareness and adoption through (online)training programs, webinars, and case studies.
Stay updated on regulatory and compliance requirements impacting the industry, be part of the local steering committee(s).
Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to influence product development based on market demand.
Create and/ or support the creation of training materials and lead training sessions to educate customers and Watts sales personnel on product technical features and benefits – Travel is required to support training activities.
Investigate and understand the market need, trends, and competitor intelligence for the given Product Line(s). Design, develop, track, and update competitive intelligence and market penetration database.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree, Engineering/Marketing or related field require.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of related Product Management is preferred within the HVAC/ Drinking water/District Heating market
Sales Channel and or Management experience
Relevant engineering experience
Proven success in developing and implementing both strategic and financial business plans
Outstanding interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building strong Team relationships
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Strong influencing skills
Proactive, creative work style and a self-starter
Positive attitude (can-do mentality)
A willingness to travel, as required
