As a market planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management team of Malaysia and APAC Export Markets responsible for management of demand forecasting and supply processes to support the achievement of sales objectives and department scorecard in the most efficient and cost effective manner. **Responsibility areas :** **Demand Forecasting (KPI - FC Accuracy)** ▪ Responsible to provide monthly article baseline forecast to respective Country Sales and alignment of forecast with market owner and market strategy. ▪ Perform analysis on demand trending and FC development. Actively monitoring open order development against demand & sales. Review FC on article & product group level and adapt APO DP demand FC accordingly on weekly basis. ▪ Coordinating different FC estimations between Salesforce and an own evaluation and/or strategic goals to ensure a consistent FC. ▪ Prepare FC accuracy analysis per market & product group under individual planner's responsibility, and submit on time. Forecast Confirmation (KPI - Confirmed Demand %) ▪Update weekly PSI; follow up shortage articles with related plants; responsible to ensure achievement of acceptable confirmed demand % using PSI format. ▪ Check and ensure system replenishment plan (up to 12 weeks) to RDCs are as per FC split. ▪ Monitor plan supply versus actual supply from plants, follow up on shortfall and highlight to Country Sales and Stock Mgt. team if there is any major supply shortfall. Management of articles Phasing In/Out and Promotion ▪ Provide regular updates to Country Sales on SOPs/availability dates for new articles. ▪ Alignment of FC for all phase-in and phase-out articles on changes in SOPs. ▪ Make random checking on open order and advise COD to change order RDD or delete order (if necessary) for phase in and phase out articles according to latest SOPs. **Stock Management (KPIs - Inventory Turns, Customer Service Level & Slow/Dead stock** **%)** ▪ Work out articles' Safety Stock Level for RDCs. Analysis & highlight safety stock level on quarterly basis for high FC error articles including Safety Stock Level for phase in & phase out articles. ▪ Identify slow/dead stock by RDCs. ▪ Ensure month end and year end inventory target is achieved by pro-actively monitoring and push inventory structure. **FC Systems Handling (APO DP & MADA)** ▪ Check MADA parameters regularly and ensure setting are as per agreed replenishment strategy for RDCs. ▪ Check and ensure APO DP data is updated, highlight on any irregularities. Data Analysis & Reporting ▪ Support request from Plant Operation, Market Distribution or Market Demand on data request or data analysis as and when required. ▪ Review monthly KPI reports for markets & product group responsible. Prepare findings based on tracking reports and investigation.
