The Municipal Market Researcher will collect planning and budget information from public sources for the Sales Department. The Market Researcher is charged with finding communities who have plans to build or rehabilitate water storage tanks.
Essential Functions:
Primary deliverable is a weekly report, which is used to generate sales activities. Performance bonuses are awarded for completing defined goals, which are generally a series of related research tasks. Maintain organized data in Livelink and Microsoft Dynamics of collected research and notes. Create new "Opportunities" in Microsoft Dynamics. Collect information about future project opportunities, especially during the Pre-Planning and Planning stages. (Before Tender Advertisement.) Use the internet, email, and telephone to acquire Capital Asset Plans from all municipal entities with drinking water storage responsibilities in selected regions of the United States. Analyze those plans and any other relevant sources to identify the specific parts of the document that will be of interest to Landmark. Organize the data in Microsoft Dynamics designed for this process. Provide weekly progress reports.Qualifications:
