Axos is creating the most advanced platform at the intersection of Trading, Banking, Investing. In this role you’ll be working with partners in Engineering, QA, Architecture, Operations, and Product Management to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products and features across our systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with architects and other developers on specifications, designs, standards, code reviews, and test capabilities, and deployment decisionsLead a team of developers through meaningful engagements, mentoring, and a community driven attitude.Demonstrate leadership with a strong sense of personal accountabilityPartner with Product, Project, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to release high-quality software and ensure its reliable operation in productionWork collaboratively with team members and project stakeholders to create realistic and reliable estimates for workParticipate and research production issues when neededContribute to our knowledge base by documenting your work

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc., or equivalent experience4+ years' hands-on experience working with modern programming languages (Java, Go, .Net, Javascript, Python, etc.)Must have experience with at least one strongly typed language and at least one scripting language.Experience with Architecture design using Enterprise Integration Patterns/.MERN/MVCRest APIs and JSONMessaging systems: 0MQ, RabbitMQ, Apache Artemis/Classic, KafkaLeadership positions/roles on teams/projectsProject planning and estimation of tasksStrong SQL Database experience including designing table schemasKnowledge of build automation tools and pipelines – Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, etc.May occasionally work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends, as necessary to support business needs

Preferred: 

Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST, JSF, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptJava, Solana, T-SQL, Go, C#Apache CamelJEE, JPA/Hibernate, and T-SQL in production applicationsGit and Gradle/MavenWaterfall & Agile development methodologiesPrevious financial services industry experiencePrevious Cryptocurrency experienceContainerization Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.Experience with asynchronous programming paradigms
