Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Commercial, the Global Market Segment Leader is responsible for driving the growth, profitability, market presence, and segmentation initiatives on a global scale. This leadership role will develop strategies and ensure the successful execution of market segmentation initiatives while collaborating closely with our marketing, technical and regional teams to ensure global segment goals and objectives are aligned.Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement a comprehensive global strategy for EXSIF’s segmentation market initiativeGather data and analyze market trends on customers’ product development and production to identify growth opportunitiesDrive the go-to-market strategies for global regions which align with corporate objectivesLead efforts to identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that will enhance market presence.Foster relationships with key industry players, customers, and stakeholders.Collaborate with regional teams to optimize market penetration and revenue generation.Partner with the engineering team to develop segment-specific product innovationTrack and report on KPS including market share, revenue growth and profitabilityProvide input and opinion to the Leadership Team on the company’s strategic marketing direction including opportunities, challenges and competition, over the short and long term.Desired Qualifications
10+ years of experience in market development or business strategyProven track record in delivering results through implementation of strategic marketing initiatives and campaignsDemonstrated experience in driving growth within a global market segmentExperience with international markets and demonstrates a deep understanding of cultural differences in business practicesExcellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skillsStrong project management and leadership capabilitiesWillingness to travel internationally is requiredProficiency in multiple languages is a plusBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related fieldThe preferred candidate is based either in Chicago or Huston. However, the candidate can also be based near one of our global offices which are in Shanghai, York, Hamburg, Paris, Rotterdam or Singapore since this position requires international travel.
