Market Strategy & Understanding, Global Operational Program Lead

What you can expect to be doing: 

Provide primary single point of contact to Ipsos research teams for a large multi-country and multi-mode panel programs. 

Provide primary knowledge center on project related requirements, history, and overall project status across all operational functions. 

Manage agreed production scope and budget of all aspects of the panel up till data delivery to client. Execute and track scope changes and work with finance staff to see through proper revenue recognition. Manage full billing reconciliation process with client service team quarterly. 

Manage internal costs form individual internal ops teams. Provide guidance to ops staff on effort estimations. 

Provide consult to internal ops teams for proper long term asset planning. 

Negotiate expectations of costs and timings between ops teams and client service to ensure simultaneous IIS profitability and meeting client expectations (art of beneficiary compromise and ability to assess operational resource stretch limits). 

Manage constant change in client expectations and be the primary consultation hub to assess the best high-level executional approach. Create new processes based on changing client needs as well as constantly drive optimization of process based on changing scope/resourcing. 

Delegate work to optimal ops team/resource and manage various operational resources’ performance (scripting, sampling, panel managers, DP) to ensure quality end to end delivery. Ultimately responsible for full operational delivery quality (based on individual ops teams’ service quality accountability). 

Ensure all ops teams provide full and continuous quality resource coverage. 

Ensure all scheduled proactive panel activities are executed despite spikes of production volumes. 

Provide personal on-call support (including off business hours and weekends) as well as arrange for ops team off business hour support as needed. 

Field escalations from Ipsos researchers / clients in optimal matter for quick production resolution and secondary full debrief/retribution/improvement cycle execution across all ops teams. 

Active involvement in the relationship with external vendors supporting operations (incentive, SMS etc.) to ensure cost effectiveness and quality performance and offering. Delegate execution of changes and add-on to vendor processes/offerings to appropriate ops teams with ultimate oversight and responsibility. 

Proactively participate in all client meetings which involve operations for full project impact visibility, proving a strong operational leadership voice on all operational aspects/details of the program. 

Direct management and oversight of regional operational leads (LATAM & MENA) who in turn will be responsible for directing all local operational activities. 

  

This might be the job for you if you have: 

Min 10 years of applicable experience in multimode and multi-country market research, panels experience needed (custom panels preferred, access/syndicated also useful). 

BA/BS required, MBA preferred, PMP encouraged. 

Internal Ipsos organization, staff and tools experience very strongly recommended.  

Must be very familiar with technical principles of data collection (ideally Tivian), sampling methodology, field mechanisms, panel management (including panel asset management), automation and data processing.  

Must be familiar with principles of research design and analysis.  

Demonstrated experience working with data in Excel and ability to handle complex data structure, summarizing data sets and manipulating data. 

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including communication with various level stakeholders as well as multicultural ESL teams. Ability to handle large email communication volume with quick and on point response/delegation.  

Must feel comfortable with assertive negotiations between internal resources, clients as well as external vendors. 

Must feel comfortable managing fast changing budgetary scope with accuracy.  

Detail oriented with strong project management, organization, and problem-solving skills. 

Demonstrated a high level of proactive, positive client service with internal and external customers. 

Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, coordinating a variety of roles and resources to bring projects to fruition. 

Ability to organize and prioritize multiple activities in a fast-paced environment. 

Proficient using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

Must be motivated, passionate and career oriented maintaining a culture of innovation and a continued desire for skill building.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education, and/or certifications.
