Marketing Advisor: Direct to Consumer Acquisition
Position Overview:
The Customer Lifecycle Marketing Center of Excellence is seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Advisor to lead innovative direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing strategies that accelerate member acquisition, engagement, and brand loyalty. This pivotal role will oversee the end-to-end development and execution of data-informed campaigns, leveraging a deep understanding of audience insights, member relevance, and real-time optimizations to achieve measurable business outcomes.
As a key player on our marketing team, you will use your expertise to craft impactful narratives, manage budgets and forecasts with precision, and continuously enhance campaign performance through actionable insights and test and learns. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating meaningful connections with our members. You will be working closely with the extended marketing team, data & analytics, product, and sales teams becoming the ‘go-to-expert’ for customer acquisition.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Develop and execute full-funnel DTC acquisition strategies that align with business objectives and drive scalable growth by going beyond traditional data.Use customer research, journey mapping, and ongoing analytics to continuous evolve and improve our strategy and customer experience.Own the campaign lifecycle—from concept and creative briefing to execution and post-campaign analysis—ensuring alignment with brand identity and consumer needs.Create and manage precise budgeted forecasts to ensure optimal resource allocation across channels, while maximizing ROI.Employ advanced analytics and optimization tools to monitor campaign performance.Drive continuous improvement by implementing A/B testing, channel performance reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.Transform complex performance metrics into clear, compelling narratives that inspire confidence and strategic action.Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, demonstrating the impact of marketing efforts on key business outcomes.Our Ideal candidate will offer:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.6+ years of experience in DTC marketing with a focus on acquisition and performance-driven campaigns.Demonstrated expertise in campaign management, from strategy to execution, with proven results in driving customer growth.Advanced proficiency in marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau Dashboards, Etc.).Exceptional analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and impactful presentations.Adept at managing large scale budgets and delivering exceptional ROI.Strong understanding of healthcare trends, consumer behavior, and the evolving digital landscape.Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a passion for innovation and excellence.Ability to work from a Cigna office 3 days a week, as directed by the business.What You’ll Gain
