Working with the Marketing & Communications Analytics Committee this individual is responsible for enhancing the Analytics & Insights function in M&C, driving the department’s increased utilization of data to support fact-based conferences/events, marketing and operational decisions and recommendations. By doing so, the individual will support our four teams (Marketing & Communications, Corporate Events, Conference Services, Hospitality) in expanding our value and creating capacity to enhance the impact of our efforts to further the growth of Baird’s businesses and brand.
Additionally, this individual will focus on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of data, support the development of advanced data visualizations for actionable insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a data-driven culture and continuously seek opportunities to enhance data processes, tools and methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the department.
As a Marketing Analytics & Insights Specialist, you may:
Support the Strategic Vision for Analytics & Insights: Contributes to the strategic vision for the development and growing impact of the Analytics & Insights function within Marketing & Communications.
Data Management: Be responsible for auditing, storing, cataloguing and managing access to the department’s data, ensuring data integrity and security.
Analytics & Insights Visualization and Strategic Reporting: Develop and maintains dashboards, Power BI reports, digital marketing analytics and campaign reporting to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
Manage Quarterly Brand Scorecard Creation and Reporting: Oversees the creation and reporting of the quarterly brand scorecard, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of key performance metrics.
Co-lead Web Analytics Reporting: Collaborates with team members to lead web analytics reporting, providing insights into website performance and user behavior that translates into tangible actions to drive enhanced outcomes.
Intake Process Establishment and Management: Establish and manages the intake process for data requests, ensuring efficient and effective prioritization of efforts.
Partner with Marketing, Corporate Events, Conference Services, and Business Units for Strategic Planning: Work closely with these teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for advancement and reporting, aligning data initiatives with business goals and reporting on progress.
Member of Martech Committee: Participate in the Martech (Marketing Technology) Committee, focusing on accessing data sources from existing partners and vetting new partners for data potential.
Member of Martech Risk Committee: Participate in the Martech Risk Committee, ensuring compliance with privacy laws related to data capture and use.
Work in concert with Department Leaders: Collaborate with department leaders to develop training and learning opportunities, enhancing associates' understanding and integration of analytics and insights into their work to support a growing culture of data-driven decision making.

What we look for:
Degree or a minimum of 3+ years working experience preferred in Data Analytics, Information Systems or similar field
Experience in SQL, Big Query or other data manipulation tools.
Experience in visualization tools, Alteryx, Looker Studios, Power BI or similar data preparation tools a plus
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics / Google Analytics 4
Database systems experience, designing and building data repositories
Ability to gather and analyze business requirements
Superior program development and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with employees at all levels/areas of the firm.
Previous people management experience preferred due to potential for growth of the Analytics & Insights function.
