The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports the marketing and communications efforts of the Office of Strategic Venues and Event Services (OSVES), including the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, Curb Event Center and other Belmont University venues. This position plays a key role in promoting ticketed performances, enhancing the visibility of Belmont’s premier event spaces, and strengthening the overall brand presence of OSVES.
Reporting to the Managing Director, and in collaboration with the Venue Sales, Box Office, Entertainment and Programming teams, the Coordinator develops creative content, manages digital and print marketing initiatives, and helps advance strategic goals that drive audience engagement, event attendance, and venue utilization.
o Create and coordinate marketing materials including emails, social media content, website updates, advertisements, print collateral, and video that uphold OSVES and Belmont brand standards.
o Develop and implement marketing strategies that highlight OSVES venues as premier event destinations, driving sales inquiries, bookings, and community partnerships.
o Provide creative direction and innovative strategies to grow audiences, strengthen engagement, and increase event and venue awareness.
o Maintain and grow social media platforms and email marketing lists for OSVES venues and initiatives.
o Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor invoices, and prepare post-event or post-campaign marketing reports and analytics.
o Develop and implement advertising strategies for venue promoted events and collaborate with external promoters for event advertising.
o Serve as a key collaborator with University Marketing & Communications, University Box Office, and as staff advisor for the venue brand ambassadors and student workers.
o Perform other duties as assigned to advance the mission of OSVES.
