Marketing and Communications Officer II

Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President for University Partnerships and Internationalization (AVP-UPI), the Marketing and Communications Officer II is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to promote the University's internationalization efforts, engage with diverse stakeholders, and enhance Ateneo de Manila’s global reputation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

I. Strategic Communication and Content Creation:

Plan, lead, and manage the creation of high-quality content, including articles, press releases, newsletters, brochures, etc, to showcase the OAVP-UPI’s key projects, events, initiatives, etc Conceptualize, create, and edit communique to and for various audiences, both internal and external, ensuring that information is communicated in an effective and efficient manner; Coordinate with various stakeholders on relevant marketing and communication matters, Create graphic and visual materials in support of the OAVP-UPI’s marketing and PR goals; Organize and manage marketing and communication resources / materials to ensure that they are securely documented and filed

II. Public Relations and Social Media Management Management

Manage and create content for the Office’s social media presence, including website updates, social media postings, and email campaigns. Drafts, posts, and manages social media and marketing content, promotional materials, and information campaigns; Monitors visitor engagements, and reviews and summarizes web / social media analytics to measure the success of social media campaign using data-driven techniques, Ensure that the OAVP-UPI’s website contains accurate and up-to-date information that is compliant with University policies and standards. Write and compile media/press releases for events and other academic milestones, based on approved official messaging and information for sending/distribution to external stakeholders (e.g., donors, partner institutions, media, public sector, and other parties of interest) Craft and implement a comprehensive social media plan and strategy, mindful of target audiences and engagement objectives, and continuously monitor its efficacy.

III. Marketing Collaterals and Merchandise

Conceptualize and propose digital and / or printed marketing collaterals (e.g., posters, bulletins, newsletters, brochures, flyers, presentations, etc.) and merchandise (shirts, caps, jackets, pens, stickers, and other apparel) that support and promote the OAVP-UPI’s goals Lead the in-house production of basic marketing collaterals and, when necessary, engage third-party service providers for more complex production requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Ensure the alignment of designs of all produced materials and collaterals with existing University policies, standards, and brand guidelines.

Performs other duties that may be required by the immediate supervisor and authorized representatives.
