Job Overview:
Owens Realty Services is seeking a highly organized and innovative Proposal and Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts. This role is essential to managing the RFP and proposal development process, enhancing brand visibility, and identifying growth opportunities. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, analytical expertise, graphic design, knowledge of the RFP process, and a creative mindset to support organizational objectives and ensure excellence in all marketing and proposal initiatives.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Proposal Management:
• Manage the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process, from opportunity identification to final submission, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
• Support the development, formatting, and editing of compelling proposals that align with client expectations and company branding.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize proposal development.
• Maintain proposal templates, ensuring consistency in branding, tone, and content across all submissions.
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
• Coordinate with Business Development Executives and operational teams to design and produce digital and print advertising materials.
• Lead website management, ensuring content updates, SEO optimization, and alignment with branding.
• Manage social media by creating, scheduling, and analyzing content to enhance engagement and visibility.
• Prepare, format, and edit brand materials, including collateral, presentations, and press releases.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, industry trends, and new technology.
• Analyze consumer behavior data (e.g., web traffic, rankings) to inform marketing strategies.
• Communicate with press contacts and manage marketing sponsorship opportunities.
Administrative & Analytical Tasks:
• Effectively manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling routine meetings with Business Development Executives, database updates, and CRM management (e.g., Copper).
• Prepare comprehensive reports on marketing metrics, providing actionable insights to executives.
• Maintain and organize a marketing database for streamlined access to materials and analytics.
• Support data-driven decision-making by collecting and analyzing relevant metrics.
Leadership & Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and executive leadership, to align marketing efforts with company objectives.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing environment.
• Present innovative business and marketing opportunities to the executive team, backed by analysis.
Creative & Technical Proficiency:
• Prepare and edit engaging copy for marketing materials, proposals, and brand communications.
• Learn and utilize various digital marketing tools and software to support initiatives.
• Design visually appealing materials using graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Ensure all marketing and branding materials effectively communicate company values, products, and services.
QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in proposal management, marketing, or business development.
- Proven experience in managing complex RFPs, digital marketing, and analytics.
• Skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and marketing platforms.
- Strong knowledge of website management (e.g., WordPress) and SEO principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for persuasive storytelling.
- Analytical with experience in market research, data analysis, and CRM tools (e.g., Copper).
- Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
