Assist the TradeWinds Resort Marketing Department in the execution of various marketing strategies, including fulfilling promotions, influencer/media arrangements, overseeing special events, creating marketing materials, and tracking routine projects. Report and research assistance, and general administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying.Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.Attending all hotel-required meetings and training.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling.Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing a nametag.Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions.Must be able to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.Perform other duties as requested by management.Detail-oriented, organized, mindful of deadlines with an eagerness to learn new systems.Hands-on assistance with gathering property information.Liaison with the activities manager in updating the recreation calendar.Confirm arrangements for visiting influencers, and media representatives.Assist with campaign reporting, month-end reporting, and other reports as requested by DOSM and DM.Oversee on-site temporary property signage as needs arise, ordering, receiving, and invoice processing.Trafficking and reordering of routine collateral projects and menu printing within Teams, including invoice processing.Maintain holiday and special event checklists and oversee tracking of tasks to execution.Coordination of installations and placement of marketing collateral.Ordering of office supplies.Other duties, as required, related to marketing systems or hotel operations. Qualifications At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.High School diploma or equivalent requiredCollege coursework in related field helpfulAt least two years’ experience in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.Knowledge of Microsoft Teams helpfulGraphic skills within Adobe Suite helpful.Experience in an Internet and Intranet environment helpful.
