Job purpose:
Support the Client & Markets (C&M) Team function in a cross-functional role to deliver high quality outcomes aligned to marketing and business development objectives. The role exists to support the C&M purpose and work as part of a team of problem solvers to help deliver, assist on execution on all inperson, hybrid and virtual events from concept to completion in line with PwC brand, standards, and relevant policies and processes.
Qualification:
Relevant Marketing Diploma/Qualification
Professional Qualification:
Chartered Institute of Marketing: Diploma in Professional Marketing or related qualification
Experience:
2-4 years’ experience in a similar role OR a marketing and conference/events industry
Work location:
In office 5 days a week

Main Duties:
The Associate is typically a junior role in C&M. The role requires a willingness to learn multiple skills across a broad range of C&M portfolio services. Associates typically support more senior C&M Associates and Managers and in some cases the AD/Senior Manager to deliver outcomes. Learning to interact with new systems and processes and meeting deadlines are key requirements for the role. An associate’s responsibilities include administrative functions. As an Associate progresses towards promotion to the Senior Associate grade, he/she should have identified areas of the C&M portfolio for specialisation and development and achieved specific development milestones and objectives, documented in progressive work plans.
Responsibilities:
Programme-specific delivery (e.g., contacts information accuracy including alumni, post-event Client Feedback programme administration, brand shop administration and upkeep and control over branded items (e.g. banners), with oversight by Senior Associate and/or Manager
Management of promotional storeroom (from invoicing, summary reports, refunds, suppliers to keeping the storeroom neat and tidy)
Basic brand knowledge to prepare internal presentations
Assisting the Western Cape Marketing Coordinator with ad-hoc events administration and on-the-day presence and support as required
C&M shared services: specific objectives identified in workplan
Support/Admin as required (incl. preparing documents for payments and complying with internal procurement policies)
Drive and build the business research and competitor intelligence areas, by working on ad-hoc and ongoing research
Support Internal marketing communication efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and content creation for marketing materials
Videology and photography: Share knowledge and assist in recording videos for content and taking photos for all events and campaigns, ensuring high quality visuals as per guidelines
