As Medpace’s Asia Pacific Marketing expert, the Marketing Associate will be responsible for providing strategic input and executing recommended tactics to build Medpace awareness in the region and generate new business leads, with a focus on China, South Korea, and Japan. Working in concert with our global Business Development and Marketing team, the Marketing Associate will execute marketing campaigns and prospect biotech companies who are running global clinical trials.
Responsibilities Collaborate with US-based Corporate Marketing team, Business Development team, and APAC-based internal stakeholders to develop country-specific marketing strategies & tactical plansExecute tactical marketing campaigns to drive awareness and interest in Medpace including:Develop Asia Pac-specific content including website, webinars, whitepapers, and blog postsManage regional social media channels, including WeChatIdentify, coordinate and support Medpace presence at Asia-Pacific industry conferencesEmail marketingDigital advertisingCoordinate editing, translation and review of English language marketing materials into local language contentAssist with lead generation by researching and qualifying high potential customers, contacts and market events to drive opportunities and salesPerform customer and contact data quality, accuracy and maintenance activitiesPerform data entry and quality control functions in the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing required. Advanced degrees are a plus. Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in both English and Mandarin is required. Additional languages (Korean, Japanese) are a plusMinimum of 3 years of B2B marketing experience required. Strong knowledge of APAC-specific marketing channels and tactics required. Previous experience in a life sciences industry preferred.Previous experience supporting western-headquartered companies with Asia-specific marketing tactics strongly preferred. Previous experience with HubSpot Marketing Automation platform preferred Strong writing skills in both English and Chinese, to drive content development and effectively facilitate review of content translation; Korean and/or Japanese a plus;Excellent organization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
