NATIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR MUSEUM
The National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas will serve as the premier national institution dedicated to the stories, impact, and legacy of the service members who went on to become Medal of Honor recipients. Neither a war memorial nor a military museum, the National Medal of Honor Museum is a humbling endeavor that will take visitors on a narrative journey through the life stories of ordinary people who made extraordinary choices above and beyond the call of duty. The museum footprint encompasses over 100,000 square feet, cornering five acres of waterfront in Arlington, Texas. Over 31,000 square feet of Exhibition Galleries as well as dedicated spaces for meetings, symposiums, memorials, and ceremonies. THE ROLE
The Marketing Associate will serve as a key member of the integrated marketing team and will help support the day-to-day objectives for the marketing department under the guidance of the Director of Marketing. This position will be responsible for marketing projects to drive awareness and conversion. This includes but is not limited to crafting marketing campaigns, digital experiences to support a marketing strategy to increase engagement, and sales for the National Medal of Honor Museum.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support Marketing Department to create and execute content marketing for the National Medal of Honor Museum. Assists with integrated communications strategy for the museum’s paid, earned, and owned media. Work simultaneously on multiple projects based on campaign calendar. Assists in the preparation of executive management reports. Assists with execution of email marketing program. Support data capture, storage, and analytics capabilities for the purposes of growing sales and engagement. Support marketing strategy, including content optimization, organic reach and paid strategies. Implement digital storytelling using re-purposed and newly created video, still photography, written, and audio content. Support adherence to the National Medal of Honor brand standards through all campaign activations. Support tracking of website traffic data, social media data, and response rate for the purpose of optimizing current and future campaigns. Support re-messaging campaigns against site visitors and social media followers. Work with team in and around campaign activations for dates of significance to create increased opportunities for engagement and sales. Draft copy for marketing campaigns across email, social, web, digital and print platforms. Work on printed material to supplement online products for potential direct mail campaigns. Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in digital marketing, communications, business, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in Marketing Thorough knowledge of advertising media principles, strategies, techniques and analytics Creative aptitude, including excellent copywriting and proofreading skills Exceptional understanding of how marketing campaigns work especially consumer-facing sectors Proficiency in marketing systems and reporting, including marketing automation and CRM Exceptional time management, and organizational skills Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Technical skills include WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics Ability to smoothly collaborate across all levels of the organization Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as neededCOMPENSATION
