Marketing Automation and Systems Specialist

The Marketing Automation and Systems Specialist is responsible for executing marketing automation campaigns, optimizing workflows, and managing the company’s intranet software. This role will support the marketing department by providing technical insights and ensuring seamless integration of marketing systems and tools. In this role, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and integrating a Marketing Automation tool for the company

Develop, execute, and refine marketing campaigns using a marketing automation tool (Hubspot or other)

Administer and maintain Axero (or other intranet software), ensuring it serves as an effective internal communications and intranet tool

Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to streamline marketing operations and identify opportunities for improvement

Customize marketing tools and the intranet platform using coding skills (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Analyze campaign and system performance, delivering actionable insights to improve engagement and ROI

Manage integrations between marketing tools and other company systems (CRM, EMR, HRIS, ATS, etc.), ensuring data accuracy and flow

Create and maintain dashboards and performance reports for marketing leadership

Stay updated on marketing technology trends and propose innovative solutions for efficiency

Other responsibilities as assigned


Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

Proficiency with marketing automation tools like HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot

Basic to intermediate coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); familiarity with API integrations is a plus

Experience managing intranet software or similar content management systems

Strong analytical mindset with expertise in marketing metrics and reporting tools

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

A collaborative team player with a proactive and detail-oriented approach

Website development and/or maintenance (preferred)

Some travel may be a requirement


Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

BA/BS degree (preferred)

Two to five years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or a related role

Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 / salary
