We are seeking a strategic Marketing Automation Manager to lead our Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) initiatives at TELUS Health, specifically within our TELUS Health Care Centers. The ideal candidate will combine marketing expertise with technical proficiency in SFMC to drive engagement, optimize customer journeys, and deliver measurable results through our email marketing automation programs.
What you'll do
Lead the execution of email marketing programs using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Develop and maintain custom email templates, landing pages, and forms using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript. Create and manage data extensions, segmentation, and audience targeting strategies Implement and optimize automation workflows, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement. Maintain documentation of processes, best practices, and campaign performance Lead A/B testing initiatives to continuously improve engagement rates Collaborate with marketing, operations, IT, and business teams to gather requirements for new projects and translate them into technical specifications. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing, marketing automation and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
What you bring
4+ years of marketing experience with 2+ years focused on marketing automation Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and AMPscript for email template customization Proven expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and compliance (CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR) Demonstrated experience working with relational data and managing data extensions in SFMC Proficient in analyzing marketing campaign results and creating actionable insights Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
Great-to-haves:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Developer) Experience with Salesforce CRM integration Experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics and/or Domo) Experience designing and documenting APIs (Node.js, Express, OpenAPI Spec) Healthcare industry experience Understanding of written and/or spoken French
