Job Description:
As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you’ll be part of our Global Marketing Technology, Data, and Automation team, where you’ll manage and optimize marketing automation campaigns using Eloqua. Collaborating closely with Campaign Managers from our Performance Marketing team, you’ll work to understand their needs and use your expertise to advise on the best solutions. You’ll build and refine customer journeys across email, landing pages, and forms—ensuring a seamless and engaging experience that drives customer acquisition and retention.
This role is hands-on and varied, covering everything from building campaigns to email production, testing, quality control, and reporting. You’ll also play a key role in troubleshooting, improving workflows, and identifying opportunities to enhance automation and engagement. Beyond execution, we want your ideas! Whether it’s refining existing journeys, testing new approaches, or optimizing personalization, this role offers room to experiment and improve. If you have advanced expertise in email marketing and marketing automation, and you enjoy working with automation tools, solving challenges, and fine-tuning campaigns for better performance, this role is for you.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in marketing automation, with advanced expertise in email marketing.
• Extensive experience with marketing automation tools, such as Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, Sitecore, ON24, Salesforce, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of data flow in marketing automation, including segmentation, personalization, and performance tracking.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for navigation and minor adjustments.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
• Proactive, hands-on problem solver with a self-starter mindset.

• Build and execute automated marketing campaigns in Eloqua, including email journeys, landing pages, and forms, while managing multiple projects and timelines.
• Develop and implement A/B testing, personalization, and dynamic messaging to improve engagement.
• Manage one-off and always-on automated campaigns, including complex workflows.
• Optimize lead flow between Eloqua and Salesforce, ensuring compliance with Sage’s brand guidelines and U.S. data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA).
• Create and update campaign pages in Sitecore, integrate gated content forms, and set up webinars with GoToWebinar.
• Analyze and optimize campaign performance, sharing insights with stakeholders.
• Support digital marketers by enabling automation for campaigns, events, and lead capture.
• Advise peers and campaign managers on segmentation, automation workflows, and technical setup.
