As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising automated marketing campaigns to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist, Web Master & Developer, and regional and global marketing staff to implement and improve marketing automation processes. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring alignment with all commercial strategies and tactics to drive demand and generate marketing-qualified leads through CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).
Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Campaign Development: Create marketing workflows to nurture leads, convert prospects, and maintain customer relationships. This includes consulting on email campaigns, social media scheduling, and other communication sequences based on user behaviour.Email Marketing: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, testing, and deployment to engage with customers.Automation Integration: Ensure the seamless integration of marketing automation with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and consult on adding new platforms to improve the automation process.Support Marketing Operations: Manage the lead lifecycle, lead scoring and nurturing, lead segmentation and data cleaning in Microsoft Dynamics, whilst also working closely with the regional client service teams on the maintenance of the account/contact databases.Lead Scoring & Segmentation: Score and segment leads based on behaviour, demographics, or interactions with the brand to ensure communications are personalised and sent at the most optimal time.Lead Funnel Management: Monitor and report on lead scoring and funnel metrics to ensure that leads are effectively nurtured and converted into marketing qualified leads (MQLs) for each of the commercial campaigns.Analytics and Reporting: Analyse data from automated campaigns, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics. Use the data to refine future campaigns and generate actionable insights for marketing and sales teams. Analyse and report on campaign performance to provide business line and commercial leaders with insights to improve future marketing strategies.Marketing Automation Management: Oversee and enhance marketing automation efforts, researching and implementing best practices and new trends.Content & Asset Management: Manage content and digital assets used in commercial campaigns.Web optimisation: Work with the Digital Marketing Specialist, local and global marketers to align on automated campaigns with SEO/SEM strategies and with the Web Master & Developer to ensure landing pages and forms are optimised for lead capture.Qualifications3+ years of experience working in a marketing automation role for business to business and direct to consumer.Extensive experience with Microsoft CRM and its marketing automation modules and dashboards.Proven ability to use and fully leverage marketing automation platforms like Dynamics 365, Hubspot, or Marketo for lead nurturing and generation.Track record of effectiveness in managing email marketing programs and campaigns.Communication skills with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.Ability to interpret marketing data and provide actionable insights.Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation and CRM.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Committed to punctuality and efficient work practices, with flexibility to adjust work hours to meet deadlines.Analytical mindset.Educational background:
University degree in marketing communications or a related field.Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Additional preferences:
