Job Summary:
The Marketing Automation Sr. Specialist is responsible for supporting programmatic and operational initiatives within the firm’s marketing automation platform (MAP) Marketo. Responsibilities for this role include executing demand generation campaigns, supporting marketing operations initiatives (lead life cycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing), creating marketing automation programs, and implementing best practices.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required Bachelor’s degree, preferred; focus in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or Finance, preferredExperience:
Three (3) or more years of marketing or communications experience, required Experience working within a professional services environment (i.e., accounting, financial consulting, business advisory services and/or banking industries), preferredLicense/Certifications:
Marketo Certified Expert (MCE), preferredSoftware:
Extensive experience with Marketing Automation Platforms, required; prior experience with Marketo, preferred Experience with CRM systems, required; prior experience with MS Dynamics, preferred Experience with CMS software solutions, preferred Data Visualization Tools like PowerBI, preferredOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, marketing automation, and CRM best practices Strong knowledge of analytical methodologies for optimizing and evaluating campaigns (i.e., segmentation, predictive response models, etc.) Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams Aptitude for logic expressions and workflow construction Excellent project management skills and organizational skills, and a proven success of managing to a deadline Displays superior verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple projects simultaneously and managing process and service providers (internal and external) to accomplish desired results Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment Ability to understand and communicate BDO business, marketplace, and value proposition Strong interpersonal and client service skills, consultative approach to working with marketing and client service professionals at all levels Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and tactics and their application in a professional services organization
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Maryland Range: $70,000 - $80,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $70,000 - $80,000
