This position is responsible for key elements of in-market tactical execution of the Eye Care Rx Dry Eye product, MIEBO®. The brand manager will help with the ECP and DTC tactical execution of the brand which is a key growth driver for the Ophthalmology Rx business. This position reports to the Executive Director of Marketing, Rx Pharmaceuticals.
**Responsibilities**
+ Share accountability for the brand, ensuring that the brand meet or exceed annual revenue and forecast
+ Participate in all brand planning and budget meetings and facilitate in the development of brand planning deliverables consistent with strategic brand objectives
+ Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of product, the market, and the competitive landscape in order to be a brand champion, across the Dry Eye Portfolio, Rx Franchise and B+L
+ Work in a collaborative, team environment with the MIEBO Professional and Consumer brand leads on execution of the brand’s tactical plans
+ Contribute to the development of promotional materials – i.e. Digital Initiatives, Field Sales Collateral, Professional Education Materials and Conference Planning
+ Lead or support internal material review process (medical/legal/regulatory)
+ Build collaborative, effective relationships with key internal partners (sales, sales training, analytics, operations, training, medical, legal, regulatory) and key customers. Create productive and positive working relationships with other internal marketing teams including another Dry Eye Rx product and consumer teams
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines
+ Utilize problem-solving capabilities that can forge a vision for success
+ Oversee effectiveness of programs and initiatives including success tracking criteria and key metrics
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 1 year of marketing experience preferably in pharma/healthcare, and/or advertising agency. Eye care and or pharmaceutical sales experience a plus.
+ Experience in the following: project management and execution, brand marketing or digital marketing, business analysis, marketing program development.
+ Demonstrated evidence of success in a collaborative, team environment.
+ Creates value for the customer and focuses on the external key stakeholders.
+ Ability to manage and deal with ambiguity, including strong emotional intelligence and communication skills that facilitate decision making and execution.
+ Demonstrates strong attention to detail and strong business acumen.
+ Have exceptional oral and written communication skills, and be well versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel etc.).
+ MBA preferred. Undergraduate degree required.
+ Other Job Requirements: Domestic Travel required, ability to travel overnight ~15%
