We are now looking for a
Marketing Business Partner
focusing on New Building Solutions (NBS) & Major Projects (MP) in Commercial and Operations unit.
The purpose of this role is to drive the achievement of KONE’s strategy, business objectives and drives growth by acting as a key link between business strategy to marketing strategy, ensuring alignment and facilitating flow of communication and ideas.
This is a senior-level position reporting to Senior Vice President, Marketing and attending the business line leadership team meetings. The position requires an individual who can drive strategy, manage cross-functional project teams, and deliver results. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the elevator and escalator industry, have a strong customer-centric mindset, and the ability to lead and inspire others while testing and trying new things.
The preferred location of the position is Espoo Finland, hence location is negotiable.
Key responsibilities:
Contribute to the overall culture and strategy for the marketing function.
Act as a strategic partner to the business line to develop and implement a marketing strategy that is differentiated and customer-centric, positioning KONE as the industry leader and aligning to the relevant strategic shifts.
Act as the key point of contact for the business line, working as a bridge between all marketing activity and the business line strategy.
Work with area marketing leads to ensure the holistic marketing needs for the business lines are represented.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform and develop the approach. Analyze market and customer data to identify opportunities and champion new approaches and optimize existing ones.
Act as project manager for the business line on relevant initiatives to lead cross-functional project teams to develop, manage and deploy activity ensuring they are well-crafted, and consistent and executed flawlessly across all channels.
Drive and develop thought leadership and offering content for the business line, developing customer-centric messaging, and identify key influencers and stakeholders to partner with to create strategic relationships.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives through customer feedback, analytics, and market research, and adjust as necessary.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
Strong leadership and influence with the ability to convey complex ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with experience working across functions to achieve shared objectives.
Proven ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, external partners, and agencies, to achieve strategic alignment and support.
Experience in project management with strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple initiatives and manage resources effectively.
Customer-focused and data-driven, with a strong ability to analyze market trends and customer insights to inform decisions.
Skilled in content development and thought leadership, creating customer-centric messaging to elevate brand positioning.
Results-oriented, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes and continuously refining initiatives based on feedback and data.
Knowledge of the elevator and escalator or other relevant industry.
Full English professional proficiency.
