What is the opportunity?

The Marketing Automation Technical Specialist will partner with Program Owner and digital specialists to brainstorm, gather requirements, design, develop and implement best-in-class targeted campaigns utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud. As a technical specialist for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, this individual will assist in designing scalable and efficient solutions. As a part of our fast-paced, growing marketing organization our ideal candidate will be energetic, technically savvy, a self-starter, and possess a detailed focus that will support the marketing automation platform. What will you do?

Campaign Strategy (20%)

Collaborate, architect, design and develop end-to-end marketing campaigns with business partners utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud, designing scalable and efficient solutions.Assist in evaluation and integration of new technologies and tools to enhance the platform’s capabilities.Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related technologies.

Technical (45%)

Responsible for Administration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform for US Wealth ManagementAct as a technical contact for Program Owners, external partners, vendors, and consultants.Build, test and deploy email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Distributed Marketing Develop and edit email templates within Salesforce Marketing CloudEvaluate and recommend technical approaches, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and alignment with the overall architecture.Create SQL queries in Automation Studio to segment audiences.Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to deployment.Participate in discovery sessions to gather detailed requirements and identify potential technical challenges.Document technical requirements and specifications, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.Partner with Program Owner, other specialists, and agency partners on requirements, development, and QA for projects where applicable

Support & Troubleshooting (25%)

Assist in answering questions and troubleshooting issues regarding the SFMC and Distributed Marketing product. Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, email testing, list segmentation and all other areas of email execution

Optimization & Reporting (10%) 

Assist in creating and monitoring Salesforce Marketing Cloud reporting.Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.Implement scalable, repeatable and comparable methods of measurement and performance tracking and distribute post-campaign.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Bachelor’s degree3+ years experiences with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)3+ years of experience with SalesforceDemonstrated experience developing marketing strategies and programs.Proven dedication to and focus on client service and satisfaction.Exceptional project management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to direct, motivate and persuade.Self-starter who can make decisions independently.Detailed oriented.Able to handle multiple tasks under very tight deadlines.
