Marketing Communications Analyst

**Job Description**
Serves as a member of the proposal team in responding to Requests For Information (RFI), Requests For Proposals (RFP) and inquiries from management, group executives, decision makers, brokers and consultants in an accurate and timely manner. Coordinates the workflow and scheduling for responses to proposals. Assists in developing and maintaining the proposal database utilized in creating accurate and competitive proposals. Provides ad hoc support to Sales team for on-site visits and finalist presentations by responding to follow up questions and providing requested information.
+ Develops responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) and inquiries from management, group executives, decision makers, brokers and consultants.
+ Responsible for managing the RFP/RFI process from start to finish, working with the responsible group representative (NBC or SCC) and subject matter experts (SMEs) from across the company.
+ Helps develop and finalize RFP responses received from company SMEs, i.e., claims, customer service, etc.
+ Evaluates RFP information and requests to help develop accurate and customer-specific RFP responses.
+ Evaluates information and requests included in each proposal to develop proposals that are competitive, accurate and customer specific.
+ Serves as the recognized expert and resource for inquiries from both management and external customers and prospects.
+ Analyzes data and information included in proposal requests to provide direction to management in identifying new trends and programs being requested by customers or being offered by the
+ Provides support to sales staff in responding to ad hoc requests.
+ Provides leadership in the RFP process and maintains and evolves the proposal database utilized in creating accurate and competitive proposal
**Hiring Requirements**
+ Must have strong writing skills. Examples will be required.
+ Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years (or Master’s degree and at least 2 years) of sales communication or marketing.
+ If no degree, a minimum 5-years experience as stated above.
+ Direct experience managing small to medium sized projects or programs.

**Salary Range**
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.

$55,800.00 - $89,300.00
