Marketing Communications Coordinator
Description We are looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful marketing initiatives while advancing your career. You will play a vital role in enhancing organizational visibility through multimedia management, digital analytics, and collaboration across departments. Responsibilities: • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities, providing actionable insights. • Organize, categorize, and maintain a comprehensive multimedia library. • Identify innovative marketing strategies to elevate the organization's programs and initiatives. • Partner with various departments to support and amplify the association's projects and goals. • Create detailed reports utilizing tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite to analyze performance. • Design promotional materials using software like Canva and basic video editing tools for packaging and captioning. • Ensure marketing efforts align with budget constraints and deadlines. • Travel to external meetings as assigned to represent the organization. • Perform additional duties as required to support the marketing team. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office, nonprofit, or association environment; experience in the legal field is a plus. • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with colleagues, members, and support staff. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and database systems such as Netforum. • Familiarity with design tools like Canva and basic video editing capabilities. • Experience using digital platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, and content management systems. • Knowledge of campaign planning, brand awareness strategies, and blogging practices.
