Marketing Communications Coordinator
Description Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a marketing communications specialist for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC! Job Description: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for crafting, editing, and proofreading high-quality written content as well as assisting in the production of video content to support our organization's communications strategies. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and experience with video editing. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all channels. Key Responsibilities: + Content Creation: Develop, write, edit, and proofread a variety of content, including blog posts, press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and internal communications. + Video Editing: Assist in producing and editing video content to support digital storytelling, marketing campaigns, and company updates. + Content Strategy Support: Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and strategy. + Proofreading: Review materials to ensure clarity, coherence, and brand alignment while checking for grammar, spelling, and formatting accuracy. + Project Coordination: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all content is delivered on time and meets quality standards. + Audience Engagement: Work to understand our audience and tailor communications to resonate effectively, driving engagement across various platforms. + Brand Consistency: Ensure all communications reflect the organization’s voice, tone, and values, maintaining a cohesive brand image. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. + Proven experience in content creation, writing, editing, proofreading, and video editing. + Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro). + Strong attention to detail and exceptional grammar and spelling skills. + Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
