Marketing Communications Intern

**Job Overview:**
The Marketing/Communications Intern will gain valuable experience across both external and internal communications strategies as member of an integrated, global team. The Intern will contribute to a variety of programs including marketing, digital/social media, employee engagement, events and public relations.
The Intern will contribute to research and planning, project management, analysis, writing and other tactics to shape and execute global marketing strategies. The Intern will assist with content for digital and traditional channels, corporate events, internal communications and creative projects. Responsibilities include writing and editing marketing materials; creating compelling social media messaging and graphics; tracking, monitoring and reporting key analytics; creating, designing and distributing communications; planning and executing corporate events; supporting design and creation of visual content and supporting various marketing and communications projects and tasks, as needed.
The successful candidate will have passion for storytelling, a growth mindset and a strong desire to build diverse experiences across external and internal communications and marketing activities. The Intern is a self-driven problem solver, a reliable team member and a detail-oriented project manager. A creative mind and powerful writing skills are a must. Responsibilities include developing project plans and creating the content that brings them to life to support overall business outcomes.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Brainstorm creative strategies and tactics to support department and organizational outcomes
+ Write creative, high-impact content for traditional, digital and social media marketing projects
+ Assist in the development of creative assets, from concept to completion
+ Track requests for information and feedback on various communication products
+ Write, review and proof marketing materials
+ Assist with project management
+ Collect and report on quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
+ Perform market analysis and research Support the marketing communications team in daily administrative tasks
+ Support event planning, including employee engagement and industry tradeshow initiatives
+ Support digital asset management, tagging and recording
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ The ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Pursuing a degree and/or interest in Marketing, Communications or other related area
+ Experience should include campaign management, marketing writing, digital writing, event planning and management and proofreading
+ Familiarity with Office, Adobe, Teams, Asana, SharePoint a plus
