Job Summary:
The Marketing Communications Manager is a dynamic creator, engaging storyteller, and innovative problem-solver committed to enhancing and promoting a premier energy brand. This pivotal role focuses on effectively communicating the brand identity to customers, communities, and policymakers. Responsibilities include collaborating with Operating Companies and the Corporate Communications and Marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand representation across all media platforms, partnering with creative services to uphold the visual identity of the brand, and supporting the execution of corporate brand strategies. This role is essential for driving impactful marketing communications that resonate with diverse audiences and reinforce our commitment to excellence in the energy sector.
**Job Description**
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
+ Create and execute a dynamic messaging strategy informed by insights from the brand health study to enhance brand perceptions and engage target audiences across each Operating Company.
+ Combine creative, strategic, and tactical thinking to develop marketing communications plans including strategy, copywriting and creative development in collaboration with other corporate and subsidiary company teams.
+ Manage and implement projects including community and corporate giving advertising campaigns, collaterals, digital content development for owned media, sponsorships, special events, customer communications initiatives and business unit and affiliate needs.
+ Write, edit, and/or review content and copy to ensure brand consistency for customer-facing programs and marketing communications.
+ Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns to make data-driven decisions.
**Basic Qualifications** :
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, mass communications, advertising or related field.
**Experience:**
+ Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in marketing communications or advertising in an agency/corporate, non-profit or government environment.
**Additional Requirements** :
+ Exemplary writing skills with an ability to write clear, succinct messages to support the AEP brand voice.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Strong ability to conceptualize, develop and execute communications projects within budget and on time.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies.
+ Effective consulting, and relationship-building skills to provide strategic advice to corporate, operating company and affiliate partners.
+ Ability to conceptualize themes, copy and design simultaneously.
+ Deep understanding of advertising message development.
+ Keen sense of meter, tone, and style in writing.
+ Ability to convey complex ideas in simple, easy-to-understand language

$112,869.00-146,730.50 USD
