What You'll Do
About the Role
As a (Senior) Marketing Manager at BCG, you will lead the Marketing & Communications (M&C) strategy for the SSA system, which includes Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Central America & the Caribbean. You will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen BCG’s brand positioning and ensure strategic alignment between global initiatives and local commercial needs, ultimately driving both brand building and business development.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop and implement effective strategies, and generate measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Marketing Planning
Develop and execute the marketing strategy for SSA, ensuring alignment with BCG’s broader business goals and the international marketing strategy (global and regional), while effectively adapting and implementing it at the local level.Partner with senior leadership to strengthen BCG’s brand positioning and enhance market presence through strategic initiatives.Oversee and prioritize integrated omni-channel marketing efforts, leveraging content, digital, events, and media strategies to maximize impact.Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources within the function.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead a high-performing marketing team of four professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and support to foster growth and excellence.Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including leadership, industry teams, and functional areas, to drive marketing initiatives effectively.Support strategic alliance marketing efforts, designing and executing initiatives that strengthen partnerships and industry collaborations.
Thought Leadership & Executive Positioning
Drive thought leadership and content strategy, managing editorial content across multiple formats (written, video, podcasts, visuals, etc.), ensuring consistency with BCG’s brand voice and messaging.Lead the ‘Seat at the Table’ initiative, working closely with senior leaders to enhance their personal brand, strengthen key relationships, and expand BCG’s influence in the market.Identify and secure speaking engagements at key industry and business forums to amplify BCG’s visibility and positioning.
Media & Events Strategy
Develop and execute the media strategy, strengthening media relations and expanding exposure by leveraging BCG’s content and expertise, ensuring alignment with thought leadership priorities and SSA business objectives.Secure media placements for BCG studies, reports, and key topics.Act as the primary contact for journalists, media inquiries, and senior BCG management regarding media engagement.Oversee and manage external PR and digital agencies to execute high-impact campaigns.Design and lead BCG’s event strategy, including both proprietary and third-party events, ensuring they align with business goals and resonate with key audiences.
Key Audiences & CRM Management
Develop and manage target audience engagement strategies, ensuring BCG effectively reaches and nurtures relationships with key stakeholders.Oversee CRM initiatives, ensuring a structured approach to audience segmentation, relationship management, and campaign personalization.Leverage data-driven insights to refine audience engagement tactics and optimize marketing interactions.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, ensuring they deliver measurable impact and align with business objectives.Continuously refine marketing strategies based on data-driven insights, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback to enhance engagement and ROI.YOU'RE GOOD AT

What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (an advanced degree is a plus).8-10+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or brand management, preferably in a professional services or global corporate environment.Proven strategic mindset, with the ability to translate global marketing objectives into actionable local initiatives.Experience managing teams and external agencies, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple complex projects with shifting priorities.Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary, multicultural teams and with senior leadership.Experience adapting global marketing strategies to reflect regional and cultural nuances.Expertise in executive positioning, thought leadership programs, media relations, social media, event management, and external relations.Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and Microsoft Office programs.Willingness to travel as required.
