The cover letter should address your specific interest in the position and outline skills and experience that directly relate to this position. **Job Summary** As a member of the Office of Enrollment Management (OEM) Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team, the Marketing Communications Project Coordinator will work with the team to coordinate multi-channel campaigns to increase awareness, engage key audiences, and communicate important information regarding undergraduate admissions, financial aid, orientation and transition programs, and enrollment services at the University of Michigan. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications, the Project Coordinator will support the development, coordination and execution of impactful communications and marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Office of Enrollment Management (OEM) manages U-M's enrollment function to efficiently optimize students' experiences throughout their engagement, from prospect to alumni. The division collaborates with campus partners, faculty, and staff, in support of the university's mission and commitment to academic quality, accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion. OEM comprises a dedicated team of more than 200 full-time staff members, and up to 400 additional student and temporary staff and is structured in five operational units - the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of New Student Programs, the Office of the Registrar, and OEM Administration. OEM strives to provide excellence in access and support to diverse and inspiring learners who will challenge the present and enrich the future. **Responsibilities*** + Utilize project management tools to manage multiple complex marketing communications projects with varying scope, priorities, and deadlines. + Assist with the management of the production of OEM materials including brochures, fliers, postcards, publications, stickers, giveaway items, digital assets, etc. + Work with designated vendors and resources to obtain project quotes and produce materials cost effectively, on time and with the appropriate approvals. + Assist in ensuring proper brand and logo usage on all division literature, publications and collateral. + Assist the multimedia designer in the development and management of the university digital asset management system. + Support the efforts of the MarCom team to generate additional content ideas for social media and university publications. + Provide assistance on other OEM communications and marketing initiatives including: photo/video shoots, and campus events. + Manage annual updates of OEM websites, publications, and university/OEM key Facts & Figures and Ranking information + Manage publication inventory, forecast usage to ensure materials are available when needed. + Serve as MarCom representative on key OEM committees. + Additional duties as assigned **Required Qualifications*** + A bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field is required. + One year of marketing or communications experience with a strong understanding of and experience in project management, marketing tactics and content development. + Proficiency in project management tools such as Teamwork, Monday, Asana, or Smartsheets. + Understanding of Social Media channels, Canva, and the Google Suite. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet multiple project timelines and deadlines. **Desired Qualifications*** + Experience managing many complex projects at once, with varying timelines and stakeholders. + Demonstrated interest in learning and growing in the marketing communications industry. + 2-3 years of marketing communications experience. **Modes of Work** The Office of Enrollment Management requires a hybrid work arrangement of minimally three days on-site and two remote days. Thursdays are required as an on-site work day for all members of the OEM team.
