Marketing Communications Specialist

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Marketing Communications Manager the Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the implementation of marketing campaigns for branding, product promotions and launches, as well as providing administrative support to the marketing team.

 Essential Functions:

Assist in creating marketing materials such as social media posts, email campaigns, and website content Assist in coordinating marketing campaigns, including preparing materials and coordinating Help grow the company’s social media presence by contributing creative ideas and Monitor, escalate (as needed) and respond to reviews, social media posts, and BBB posts Manage all aspects of direct mail programs Manage print production and mailing process, to include working with vendors Manage fulfillment vendor relationship, including portal access by local markets and maintaining inventory Conduct research as needed to include but not limited to regularly tracking competitors' Consult with graphic designer on assigned projects. Manage sponsorship logistics and market-level requests for logos, program ads, banners, giveaways Work with vendors and team on branded company apparel and giveaways Stay up-to-date and trained on InDesign and digital media technologies and latest trends Provide Digital Content Manager support with ongoing email communications to include, but not limited to, list management Maintain marketing exposure plans for department Marketing Department administrative services to include but not limited to invoice allocation & processing, and sponsorship and donation budget tracking

 

Other Attributes & Skills Required:

Desire to learn and think ahead Excellent communication skills Working knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics Proficiency with email marketing platforms and InDesign Experience in planning and leading initiatives Team player and collaborator Ability to multi-task

Experience:

Minimum 3 years marketing or administrative project management experience. Experience with InDesign and digital media technologies is a plus.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum bachelor’s degree preferred.
