Marketing Communications Specialist

The Marketing Communications Specialist will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies to support brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role involves creating compelling content for social media, email campaigns, sales collateral, and other marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 


Key Responsibilities 

• Marketing Strategy & Execution: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and target audiences. 

• Content Development: Create and manage engaging content for multiple platforms, including social media, email campaigns, website updates, blogs, and marketing collateral. 

• Social Media Management: Develop and execute a social media strategy to drive engagement, grow followers, and build brand awareness on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter). 

• Email Marketing: Design, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and enhance customer engagement. 

• Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to create effective collateral such as one-pagers, presentations, and product overviews. 

• Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email performance reports. Provide actionable insights to optimize strategies. 

• Brand Messaging: Ensure all marketing materials align with brand voice, values, and goals, maintaining consistency across all touchpoints. 

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment of marketing initiatives. 

• Trend Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing tools to bring fresh ideas and strategies to the team. 


Qualifications

• Experience: At least 2+ years in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment or within technology, SaaS, or telematics industries. 

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp), social media schedulers (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). 

• Content Expertise: Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills, with a keen eye for detail and design. 

• Social Media Advertising: Experience with paid social campaigns and optimization on platforms like LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads. 

• Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to interpret analytics and apply findings to improve marketing strategies. 

• Project Management: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage deadlines and priorities effectively. 

• Bonus Skills: Familiarity with SEO best practices, graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), Monday.com and CRM systems.
