Marketing Communications Specialist Asia

We are looking for a skilled and creative Marketing Communications (MarCom) Specialist to implement our marketing communication efforts across HHC (Hygiene, Health&Consumables BU) Asia. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand presence, managing marketing events, and creating impactful content tailored to the region’s diverse markets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WeChat operations, content creation, and event management, as well as strong design and analytical skills. In addition to MarCom responsibilities, this role will also help market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.

PRIMARY DUDITES

Marketing Communications (MarCom):

WeChat and LinkedIn Management:Operate and manage the company’s official WeChat account, including designing and publishing engaging WeChat pages.Write and edit high-quality media articles tailored to the Asian market.Monitor and analyze WeChat performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach.Write and publish articles in LinkedIn or other social medias for SEAK.Content Creation:Create and edit articles, graphics or videos for marketing campaigns, product promotions, sales presentations and other marketing tools, etc.Use tools like Canva or other design software to create visually appealing artwork, graphics, videos etc.Develop professional and visually optimized PowerPoint presentations.Event Management:Plan, organize, and execute marketing events such as tradeshows, seminars, and other promotional activities.Coordinate logistics, materials, and on-site support to ensure successful event execution.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality events.Media Relations:Collaborate with external media outlets and platforms to amplify brand visibility.If applicable, leverage extended media experience to build and maintain strong relationships with media partners.

Market Assistance:

Conduct basic market and competitor research, collect market and competitor intelligence, to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.Perform market surveys and analysis to support strategic decision-making, as needed.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives, including pricing.Support internal and external campaigns, events, complete pricing tasks for the region, and other marketing initiatives as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.Experience:Proven experience managing and designing content for WeChat.Event management experience, including planning and executing tradeshows.Strong writing skills for creating media articles and marketing content.Proficiency in design tools such as Canva or similar software.Experience in video creation and editing is highly desirable.Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (formatting and design optimization).Strong Excel skills for data analysis.Capable of using design and video editing software.Language Skills:Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in English, with the ability to write and communicate effectively in a professional way.Other Requirements:Prior experience in a similar MarCom or marketing assistant role.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in conducting market research and analysis.Familiarity with competitor analysis and industry trend reporting.
