United Wholesale Mortgage is seeking a talented content strategist who will be responsible for creating and optimizing engaging, high-quality content for our brands. In this role, you’ll identify unique opportunities to solve our business needs through content. You’ll plan, develop and deploy content across our digital platforms, from blogs to articles, social media posts and more. In addition, this role serves as our expert in search engine optimization, helping us identify opportunities to increase our organic search results through content.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGIdentifying brand-level content strategies and messaging recommendations
Developing, coordinating, and deploying a high volume of content for our websites and other platforms
Implementing effective SEO strategies to improve web traffic and company visibility
Producing well-researched, engaging and audience-oriented content on a wide range of topics
Initiating and managing your own daily tasks tied to broader team timelines
Troubleshooting issues and improving processes relating to content
Uploading / publishing content through our website and partner site admins
Helping us innovate and improve to better meet the needs of our audiences
Collaborating with channel owners, designers, writers and other team members to bring messaging to life
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUMUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
Strong writing, analytical and communication skillsCreativity, vision, and ideas for how to communicate complex ideasPrevious experience developing and deploying content for digital platforms with a demonstrated ability to deliver a high volume of quality content quicklyAbility to write compelling creative briefsA firm grasp of SEO tactics to help increase online visibility. This includes use of keywords, meta tags, and links to improve the ranking of the content on search enginesResults-driven with a test-and-learn mentality – we are big on continuous optimization and there’s always room for improvement!Bachelor’s degree or greater with 3+ years of relevant work experienceProficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PPT and ExcelHands-on experience in publishing tools and/or web development or deploymentPositive, team-oriented attitude
