We have an exciting part time opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Retail Marketing team supporting a number of key shopping centres. Working closely with the marketing team and reporting to the Director in Retail Experience, you will assist in a variety of areas of marketing including event management, digital marketing, public relations, evaluation of return-on-investment performance as well as administration duties.
This position would be perfect for a motivated self-starter who’s looking to get their ‘foot in the door’ in shopping centre marketing; or an existing retail marketing coordinator with shopping centre marketing experience who is looking for a new challenge within an organisation with career growth opportunity.
This role will be working 22.5 hours per week. We are flexible on days so tell us what works best for you.
**Here’s a snapshot of your day;**
• Preparation and monitoring of digital marketing campaigns and content creation across social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• Execution of the centre’s marketing plan and campaigns/activations
• Reporting on success of campaigns and activations
• Liaising with landlords, retailers, customers, agencies & the community on promotions
• Monitoring and understand the centre’s customers and trade area
• Administration duties related to invoicing and vendor set ups
**Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;**
• Previous digital marketing experience will be highly regarded
• Degree qualified in Marketing and/or experience in a marketing position
• Excellent creative flair and an eye for detail
• A Passion for ‘creating’ and thinking differently about exciting events and promotions that create engaging experiences for customers
• The ability to proactively solve problems and a determination to deliver quality work
• Capability to work autonomously and work directly with clients
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
