HDR currently has an opening for a Marketing Coordinator in our Transportation Business Group with the skills and desire to help support our nationally-recognized program.
Based in one of our South Carolina offices, we’ll count on you to:
Manage pursuit teams in developing persuasive proposal and interview materialsWork with Marketing, Project Managers, and technical staff to plan, write, design, and produce proposal and presentation materials.Develop and coordinate graphics.Write non-technical text; edit and proofread marketing communications.Write and maintain project profiles for all current and past projects.Arrange for professional photography on projectsPrepare and update resumes for Transportation staff in South Carolina.Track and maintain marketing information to populate company data systems: pursuit and contract information, photography, resumes, project profiles, references, etc.Communicate and collaborate with marketing staff in other offices as well as corporate marketing.Coordinate conference attendance and sponsorships with Business Development Leader, Business Group Manager and Accounting staff.Attend industry and client events, as needed.Work with internal client managers and teams to develop marketing strategies, client development plans and pursuit capture plans.Adhere to company brand standards and quality control procedures.Support development of annual and long-term strategic plans within established company direction and goals, including creating growth initiatives and prioritizing strategic investmentsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism preferredMinimum of one year of marketing and proposal experience, preferably in the A/E industryStrong computer skills, creative/graphic design and layout skills and use of other media in marketing proposals, presentations and related collateral materialExcellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiples tasks and meet deadlinesPreference given to local candidates with the ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-personRequired QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
